Rinascita (f) noun (Italian): rebirth, revival, resurgence
ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am Robin Lee Simmons and I was born a creative in an artistic family. I am also a sudden cardiac arrect survivor. Since my "rebirth" (rinascita) in September 2023, I have chosen art as my PTSD therapy.
During a recent trip to Italy, I fell in love with watercolor and ink art. Soon after Rinascita Art took flight and I began additionally transforming my creative techniques into flowing and whimsical digital art.
All of my art forms have given me the peace and comfort my heart and mind have needed to heal. A percentage of all art, calendars, and more that are sold will be donated to the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation www.sca-aware.org.
